Julia
Donovan
Julia has worked extensively as
an actor and teacher in Toronto, Stratford and New York City.
Julia studied with the National Shakespeare Conservatory in New York
City and later acted in several classical productions Off-Broadway.
Julia has been nominated for, and won awards for her acting both in
Toronto and the Stratford Festival of Canada where she performed in
over a dozen productions including the title role in the world
premiere of The Swanne: Princess Charlotte. Throughout
her acting career, Julia has indulged her passion for teaching by
leading numerous acting classes for both children and adults
including engagements at; Baruch and LaGuardia Colleges in New York
City, The Stratford Festival and Theatre Aquarius in Hamilton.
Julia is currently a series regular on Odd Job Jack for the
Comedy Network. |
Jeff
Gruich
Jeff has over 15 years of experience acting and teaching
professionally. At the Stratford Festival of Canada, Jeff
performed in several main-stage productions, participated in a
conservatory-style training program and conducted many acting
workshops for students. Jeff also facilitated and co-wrote the
curriculum for Stratford's Shakespeare in the Classroom program,
which introduced High School and Elementary teachers to creative
methods of teaching Shakespeare's plays. Jeff has taught
theatre and film and t.v. courses at L.K.T.Y.P. (formerly Young
People's Theatre) and Arts Express in Toronto as well as acting
courses for teens and adults at Theatre Aquarius in Hamilton.
Jeff was also part of the casting team in Toronto for Hairspray
and The Producers with Mirvish Productions. Some of
Jeff's Film and Television credits include; How To Lose a Guy in
10 Days, Welcome to Mooseport, The Topic of Cancer, The Real Moby
Dick, Sue Thomas F.B. Eye and Degrassi: The Next Generation.
Jeff currently teaches Dramatic Arts at Uxbridge Secondary School. |
